FAQ

1. Is it possible to create a trial for a user who is part of the Secure Trial Console (STC)?

Yes, it is possible to create trials for all products except Umbrella for users who are part of the Secure Trial Console (STC). However, the user must belong to a different organization than your own.

2. How long does Secure Workload provisioning take after the customer activates the trial in Security Cloud Control?

Secure Workload provisioning typically takes 1–2 business days to complete after the customer activates the trial in Security Cloud Control.

3. Are there any restrictions when creating trials for products that are part of a suite or available as standalone products in Secure Trial Console?

Yes, there are several restrictions to prevent duplicate product instances for a customer:

  • If a product included in a suite is also available as a standalone product, the standalone option will be disabled in the Cisco products section. This ensures only one instance of each product is allowed per customer.

  • If the customer already has a trial for a product included in a suite, a new suite trial cannot be created.

  • If the user initiates trial creation using the 'Add product' button, the suite option will be disabled if the customer already owns any products from that suite.

  • Similarly, if the customer already has a suite, the individual products included in that suite will be blocked from selection to prevent duplication.

These measures are in place to maintain compliance with Cisco’s product trial policies and avoid duplicate product instances for customers.
