Trial approval proccess

This guide describes the steps that occur after the seller initiates a trial creation and how the compliance team reviews and manages approval requests.

1. Overview of the Trial Approval Process

When a seller completes the trial creation wizard, an approval request is automatically sent to the compliance team. At this stage, the trial receives the status "Pending approval". The compliance team then reviews the request to ensure all requirements are met.

1. Approval of the Request

  • If the request meets all requirements, it will be approved and the trial status will change to "Pending".

  • This means the trial is now fully created, and the customer will receive an email to activate the trial.

2. Steps After Trial Creation

2.1. Approval of the Request

  • If the request meets all requirements, the compliance team approves it.

  • The trial status changes to "Pending", which means the trial is fully created.

  • The customer receives an email with instructions to activate the trial.

2.2 Need more info

  • If the approver needs clarification or changes, the trial status will be set to "Need more info".

  • The seller receives an email notification about the requested changes or questions.

  • The approver’s comments are displayed on the trial information page, so the seller can review and address them.

(See image below for an example of how comments appear.)

2.3. Rejection of the Request

  • If the compliance team determines the request does not meet the requirements, they may reject it.

  • The trial status changes to "Rejected".

  • The approver provides a reason for the rejection, which appears in the trial information as for need more info.

  • No further changes can be made to the trial once it is rejected.

3. Seller Notifications
  • Sellers are notified by email at each stage of the approval process (approval, request for more information, or rejection).

  • All approver comments and reasons are visible on the trial information page within the system.
